Staff Openings
Maintenance/HVAC Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Major and minor repairs as well as regular maintenance on heating, ventilation and A/C equipment
· Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers
· Installs and maintains all plumbing fixtures and related operational features on sinks, toilets, showers, and sewer lines
· Maintains swimming pool including the operation of water filtration pumps and chlorination system
· Performs service-related work on maintenance requests for general, equipment and building repairs
· Must be able to work during adverse weather conditions.
· May be required to report to work when the College is closed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma
· 3-5 years of general maintenance experience
· 1-2 years of specialized experience
· CFC Universal Certified
· Available for on-call services
· Valid NC driver’s license required
PREFERENCES:
Residential campus experience is preferable

Faculty Openings
Adjunct Faculty for the Adult Develpment Program
The Adult Development Program (ADP) at Peace College is an intensive, accelerated degree-completion program designed for adults. Classes meet one night a week from 6pm to 10pm for the duration of five weeks. Currently, we are seeking Adjunct Faculty members who are qualified to teach one or more of the following courses:
- Family Development
- Local, State, and Federal Government
- Family & Youth Services
- Family, Community, & Advocacy
- Ethics
- Statistics and Research
- Crisis & Techniques of Counseling
- Spanish for Helping Professionals
- Human Services Design & Evaluation
Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Human Development or related fields (i.e. Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Sociology, Child and Family Development);
- Two years of experience teaching college level courses;
- Established record of teaching excellence and demonstrated leadership experience;
- One year of "on the job" experience required;
- One year of experience teaching at an accelerated degree-completion program preferred.
We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated commitment to the promotion of interdisciplinary work, teaching excellence, diversity, and possess a collaborative leadership style.
