Life At Peace

"The first time I stepped on campus I knew that it was home."-- Susanna Kivette, Class of 2007.

Countless women have had the same reaction as did Susanna, who is now serving in Africa with the Peace Corps after graduating from Peace with a biology degree in 2007.

Peace students find a collaborative learning and living environment that nurtures their dreams. It's not just something we say, it's something that our students say about their experiences here.

In the National Survey of Student Engagement, our students rate their experiences at Peace so highly that the college regularly ranks in the top 10 percent among the 600-plus college and universities around the country that take part in the survey. In the survey's category "supportive campus environment," Peace regularly ranks in the survey as among the very best in the nation.

The "Peace Family" consisting of administrative staff, faculty members, and support staff consciously work together to create a climate that welcomes students to the learning environment. From the president down, everyone who works at Peace sees it as her or his mission to promote positive relationships, relationships that produce highly satisfied students.
