Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir Present Spring Concert

The Peace College Chamber Singers and Choir will present their annual Spring Concert on Tuesday evening, April 28, at 7:30 in Kenan Recital Hall.

 

As in past years, the singers will be joined by The Grains of Time, an a cappella group of eight men from North Carolina State University. The combined groups will perform works by Mozart and Mendelssohn, accompanied by a 12-piece chamber orchestra. Additionally, the Chamber Singers and The Grains of Time will each perform selections from their repertoire, and the concert will end with both groups performing selections made popular by the Beatles.

 

The concert is free and open to the public, and there will be an outdoor reception following the concert. The concert is under the direction of Jim Smith, Associate Professor of Music.
