From Stereotypes to Hate Crimes: Understanding the Challenges of the APIDA Community

In honor of APIDA Heritage Month and in response to the recent episodes of hate and violence against Asian Americans in the U.S. the WPU Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting a teach-in and open forum on Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American experience(s).

Join Director of Student Involvement Chelsea Hayes, and Associate Professor of Anthropology Vinnie Melomo to learn more about some truths and stereotypes of the APIDA community(ies), and the challenges they/we face in America today.
