William Peace University’s Manning Music Concert Series presents WPU Masterclass 2020, featuring guest Artist from North Carolina Theatre: Ashley Adamek and Kinise Howell, and first runner up to Miss NC and vocal coach, Jerenae Raeford.

Ashley Adamek

Ashley has enjoyed an exciting and versatile career as a professional dancer/ performer in New York City. Favorite Credits include Broadway: Spider-Man-Turn Off The Dark(swing/dance captain); National/ International Tours: Chicago(Hunyak, Roxie understudy),Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2011
Winter Tour (Singer/Dancer); Dulcinea In Manhattan Italian Tour (singer/dancer); Regional: Whoopi Goldberg produced White Noise World Premier (dance captain); Paper Mill Playhouse, Casa Manana, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Musical Theatre West, and North Carolina Theatre. Ashley has danced with Kanye West (SNL and Atlantic City) and Florence + The Machine (SNL). Ashley also had the opportunity to perform with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Savatage in their renowned, groundbreaking dual performance at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany in 2015.

Jerenae Raeford

Jerenae Raeford holds a BA in Music Education from East Carolina University with a concentration in voice. In college, she was a member of the all-female a cappella group, the ECU Magnolia Belles, and the international award winning choral group, the ECU Chamber Singers. One of her most notable performance roles was Giselle, the lead role in the premier opera composition of Nia Imani Franklin, Miss America 2019. Jerenae has had the honor of holding various pageant titles, and winning numerous awards throughout her career, including placing 1st Runner Up in the 2019 Miss North Carolina Competition. She has great experience teaching both choral music as well as private voice. Jerenae’s passion is music, and it is her goal
to help every client grow and develop into their fullest potential as a performer.

Kinsie Howell

Kinsie Howell has called NYC home for the past 8 years but is back in Raleigh, NC where she began her dance and vocal training with North Carolina Theatre Conservatory and Alicia’s School of Performing Arts. She has been in over 13 NC Theatre shows and is an alumna of East Carolina University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance. She has worked across the United States, Canada and Asia in National and International Tours including The Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein (Inga/ Elizabeth Understudy) and A Chorus Line (Judy Turner). Other favorite main stage performances include CATS (Demeter), Victor/Victoria, Spamalot, and Atina in The Little Mermaid. She has taught and judged with Musical Theatre and Dance workshops across the country, and studied under Broadway Directors & Choreographers such as Susan Stroman, Baayork Lee, Casey Hushion, and Jennifer Werner. She is ecstatic to be a part of this year’s staff at Alicia’s School of Performing Arts and NC Theatre and share her passion for the arts with every student!
