WPU to Host 2018 South Regional for NCAA DIII Baseball Tournament
William Peace University Baseball, in coordination with the Holly Springs Salamanders, will host the 2018 South Regional for the NCAA DIII Baseball Tournament at Ting Park in Holly Springs, May 17-20.
WPU offers athletics in 18 different sports. Pacers Baseball competes in the USA South Athletic Conference, where it finished 9-9, 19-19 overall in just the 5th year of the program’s existence. Led by first-year Head Coach, Curtis Owen, WPU made the USA South conference tournament for the second straight season.
“What a great time to be involved in Peace Athletics. Hosting this regional is a great opportunity for the University and for everyone involved,” said Kevin Daniels, Director of Athletics. “For Athletics, we get the chance to truly shine the light on our student-athletes and everything we offer as an institution and in Division III athletics.”
Ting Park seats 1,800 people and includes:

- Home and Visitor Team Locker Rooms
- Training Room
- State-of-the-art Digital Scoreboard and Sound System
- Professional-quality sports lighting
