July, 2020 – William Peace University proudly released the Second Edition of the PEACE Magazine. This “Piece of Peace” delves into some fantastic stories within the WPU Community. The magazine highlights immersive learning opportunities, innovative partnerships, and celebrates the success of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University had to adjust to new safety procedures and decided to cancel all events and activities for the immediate future. Unfortunately, this decision included the 2020 commencement ceremony. To honor the Class of 2020, Deja Gainey ’20 wrote the President’s Message for this year’s edition. President Brian C. Ralph, Ph.D., put it best, stating “With all that is going on in our world, I decided that in this edition of the Peace Magazine, I would take the liberty to do something different, something to celebrate the Class of 2020 and hopefully share with you, our alumni and friends, just how truly remarkable our students are. So, In lieu of my traditional President’s Message, I made the decision to invite Student Body President and recent graduate, Deja Gainey ’20, to write this year’s President’s Message.”
