William Peace University is committed to ensuring every student has access to a high-quality education.
That’s why we’ve created the Peace Pledge.
Our guarantee to cover 100% of tuition for eligible students, the Peace Pledge offers a true opportunity for North Carolina students. This initiative ensures that a high-quality education at Peace is both affordable and accessible.
The Peace Pledge is automatically awarded to qualified students entering college for the first time and requires no extra steps beyond the admission application.
Who Qualifies for the Peace Pledge
- Household income of less than $75,000 (as determined by the FAFSA)
- Weighted GPA of 3.2 and higher
- Eligible for a Federal Pell Grant
- Resident of North Carolina
The Peace Pledge is available to first-time students starting at William Peace University in Fall 2025. While current students aren’t eligible for this specific program, they have access to a range of financial aid options, including institutional scholarships, grants, and work-study opportunities. Our financial aid team is always available to help current students explore ways to make their education more affordable.
What to Know

- After being admitted to William Peace University and completing the FAFSA, you’ll receive your student award package. This will include a breakdown of your cost and all of the aid programs you are eligible for as a Peace student.
- The Peace Pledge is renewable for four years, provided you continue to meet all stipulated criteria.
- While the Peace Pledge significantly reduces tuition costs by maximizing available financial aid resources, students are still responsible for all fees, housing and food, and other expenses associated with attending Peace. Additional costs vary based on housing selection, meal plans, and personal expenses. Students are encouraged to explore scholarships, payment plans, and additional financial aid options to help cover these costs and ensure a smooth transition to Peace.
