William Peace University is doing its part to help ease the transition into college for students and their families.
College is a big step, filled with excitement, questions, and nerves.
That’s why the Office of Student Involvement is hosting Pacers Connect on June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At Pacers Connect, deposited and transfer students, along with their family members, will meet other students, interact with faculty, and also receive some Peace swag. The primary purpose of the event is to make future students feel at home in their new campus community.
“Incoming Pacers will have the opportunity to meet current Peace students, as well as make appointments with certain offices,” said Christine O’Donnell, Assistant Director of Student Involvement. “Pacers Connect will be an opportunity to learn more about the Peace community before they return to Raleigh in August for their first semester.”
The campus bookstore will be open, and a complete schedule is available here. Future Pacers are also encouraged to register for New Student Orientation in August.
