The Pacers will head to Florence, South Carolina, on Saturday, November 2nd, to participate in the Florence Esports Collegiate Festival. This tournament, hosted by Stay Plugged In, is an esports association dedicated to helping high school and collegiate esports players get recruited.

The Florence Esports Collegiate Festival is a premier gathering for collegiate esports teams, bringing together players from across the region to compete for a chance to win part of the $2,000 prize pool. The event is expected to feature a strong roster of schools, promising some tough competition and a high-energy environment. The Pacers’ Overwatch, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teams will each be battling it out for a spot at the top, making it an exciting challenge as they face off against other college esports teams.
Tournament Format
The tournament will use a double-elimination format, giving teams a chance to come back even after a loss and ensuring that the best teams rise to the top. Each team will battle it out in best-of-three matches for games like Overwatch and Rocket League, while Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature intense one-on-one matchups.
Expectations
The Pacers have the mentality of winning the whole thing, although the task of doing so may be hard. This group of players has been battling it out in NACE and is ready for this experience of being at an in-person tournament.
“This will be our first live event of the year, and the first ever for many of our players. The competition will be steep, but the live event experience is something special.
